Great drill, lots of torque. The battery lasts ages. The drill has taken a battering over the last 5 years and still works well.
The LED could do with staying on longer and being lower down so to point on the bit.

Light, reliable, good for heavy duty projects.
The chuck is awesome and perfectly aligned on the rotation axis.
Maybe the magnets on the back of the drill should be heavier

The stanley fat max fmc 625 is a super piece of kit great value for money.
The drill was purchased in 2015, one of the batterys failed after 13 months, at the time i tried very hard to get a spare without any luck, even though both batterys were used in the same ways, the one battery is still performing as good as when new. i was looking on the b&q web site and saw that stanley were giving away a spare battery with new purchases,i wonder if a new battery is still available to buy on it's own.??

Was advised that it was a great power tool, and they were right ( kind of )
I brought the fatmax about 18 months ago, and VERY rarely used it ( about 10 times just to drill a few bits. After that, it seems ( from advice ) that the bushes have gone as it's not gripping the drill bit properly which is a shame as it seemed a good power tool
