THE ORIGINAL STANLEY 99E RETRACTABLE BLADE KNIFE IS THE TOOL I USE THE MOST, AS A WOOD CARVER I ORIGINALLY USED TO USE IT TO CARVE AWAY EXCESS WOOD FROM MY PROJECTS TO SAVE MY CHISELS FROM GOING BLUNT BUT I SOON REALISED THEY ARE CAPABLE OF SO MUCH MORE AND NOW I USE MY KNIFE ON PROJECTS FROM START TO FINISH AND I OFTEN JUST LEAVE MY CHISELS IN THE DRAWER. IT IS A SOLID WELL BUILT KNIFE THAT FEELS COMFORTABLE AND SAFE WHEN IN USE, IF I HAD TO TAKE ONE THING ONTO A DESSERT ISLAND WITH ME THE ORIGINAL STANLEY 99E RETRACTABLE BLADE KNIFE WOULD BE IT

Top Tip: A BLUNT BLADE IS A DANGEROUS BLADE, ALWAYS CHANGE YOUR BLADE AS SOON AS IT GOES DULL, IF YOU HAVE TO USE MORE EFFORT TO CUT THEN YOUR BLADE IS GETTING BLUNT, DON'T LEARN THE HARD WAY.

This knife is amazing. It is light, easy to use and works best with Stanley branded blades yet fits with cheaper versions. I used this blade to tile my bathroom with vinyl and I had no issues with cutting and didn't need many blade changes. A professional finish by a non professional

Top Tip: Change the blade when needed and don't leave it
