I was sent this level to review ! This level felt sturdy and light ! Straight out of the packaging I could tell that this level is well made and ergonomic, in my line of work I got to run it through its paces , from Putying plasterboard , hanging joists and even using it to plumb up a brick wall with pillars it has preformed highly ! I've had the same girder style level for years but the FatMax level far outperformed it in so many ways , it was lighter so after a day working you still hardly noticed the weight in your hands , it had highly visible vials at all angles of use and it proved tough enough to stay true even after being bashed about and even dropped a couple of times ! It's proved so good that ive stopped using my old level and I'm looking at getting the 600mm and the 1800mm !

Top Tip: When working with brickwork and cement make sure you clean the machined edge thoroughly as if you get any build up it can be hard to remove without brick acid !

Like most tradesmen, we have all tried other levels after having a stabila and normal revert back to the norm... Not this time! I had the simat looking yellow box level from Stanley, it was s##t to be fair, the fat max pro is baxi ally what it says, I put this level through as much stick you could possibly give it. It's been used on brickwork, blockwork, dabbing and just to top it off ... A kitchen Install and it's as true now as it was when it arrived. Fair play Stanley!
